Overview
Adless Pro helps make Safari browsing cleaner and more private by using packaged filtering rules, local cosmetic cleanup, and local settings. The app does not require an account and does not depend on a remote user profile.
The product is built around local processing. Filtering decisions, settings, and diagnostics are handled on your device or through Safari extension APIs.
Information processed locally on your device
To provide ad blocking, tracking reduction, page cleanup, and per-site controls, Adless Pro may process website addresses, network requests, page structure, and selected page elements locally in Safari or the Safari extension environment.
This processing is used only to provide user-facing features such as filtering, cosmetic repairs, page cleanup, blocked-action counts, settings, and troubleshooting diagnostics.
Data stored locally
Adless Pro stores configuration locally on your device. Depending on your settings, this may include:
- whether protection is enabled,
- the selected filtering mode,
- enabled filter groups,
- per-site settings and pause state,
- custom filters created by you,
- interface preferences,
- local setup and migration metadata.
The toolbar blocked-count feature is local-only. Per-page counts are kept for local display and are not sent to an Adless Pro server.
What Adless Pro does not collect
Adless Pro does not collect personal data from the app for developer analytics, advertising, resale, or tracking. In normal operation, Adless Pro does not transmit your browsing history, page content, settings, diagnostics, passwords, payment information, form entries, or private messages to Adless Pro servers.
Adless Pro does not implement remote telemetry, external analytics, crash-report uploads, profile sync, remote rule downloads, or hidden review-time backend behavior.
Permissions and website access
Safari may ask you to allow Adless Pro to access websites. This access is required because ad blocking, tracking reduction, cosmetic cleanup, and per-site controls can only work on the pages you open.
Adless Pro may use Safari and Web Extension capabilities such as local storage, Declarative Net Request, scripting, tabs, content blockers, packaged rulesets, and local app-extension communication. These capabilities are used to provide the product features described in this policy.
Retention and your control
Local Adless Pro settings remain on your device until you change them, clear extension or app data through system controls, disable the extension, or uninstall the app.
You can change filtering mode, pause protection for selected sites, edit custom filters, disable Safari website access, disable the extension, or uninstall Adless Pro at any time.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Adless Pro evolves. When material changes are made, the updated policy will be reflected on this page or in related app information.
